Haakon Aramsen served the Church of the Lawgiver as the Pave of Hazlan. He commanded the Iron Faith across the land of Hazlan from the Iron Citadel-Fane at the western edge of Toyalis under the distant direction of Himmelsk Naeve Pieter Jergaar.[1] As Pave of Hazlan he enjoyed much greater autonomy than Lod Ragnaar who as Pave of Nova Vaasa was under the thumb of the Himmelsk Naeve.[2] Still, he himself had two masters to please, Hazlik the lord of the land and Pieter Jergaar the head of the Church. And the their wildly incompatible natures and agendas could not have made the task easy.

Pave Haakon Aramsen is described as being elderly and uncompromising.[1] He remained formidable enough that only Hazlik has the force of will and the authority to challenge him.[1]

Unfortunately for Pave Haakon Aramsen he was a victim of an editorial error that has seen him be replaced.[2] Stavroz Vatsisk is described as being the Pave of Hazlan in the Authority Figures insert for Toyalis[1] and second several years later in the Hierarchy and Terminology section for the Church of the Lawgiver.[2]

The simplest solution to this matter is rule him dead of old age. Whereas his disappearance, without a trace, would make for a good hook.
