Colmarr Greatorm is a character that first appears in the article Secrets of Freedom in Quoth the Raven Issue 29.
Origins
Colmarr Greatorm was born on the island of Lantan on the world of Toril. He left the island due to his desire to travel and explore the many possibilities of magic. During his travels, he became a devotee of Mystra, goddess of magic. Eventually, he encountered and fell in with the Harpers, seeing them as a great force for Good in his world.
Fall
In 1371 DR[1], Colmarr received a special mission from Elminster, most famous of the Chosen of Mystra. He was to find and 'gladden the heart' of Evanar, Mystra's secret Mother of Champions, so she would leave her seclusion and embrace love and laughter once more - and give birth to a new champion.
