Tarun Sarpal is the lead hunter at the Vanyabhumi Lodge. In his youth he gained fame in Pakat by hunting and killing many predators which lurked in the jungles around that city. Now he has reached middle age, he continues to hunt the unexplored reaches of the Vanyabhumi.[1]
Tarun Sarpal's assistant is a man called Hemarj. The two men have an oddly distrustful relationship yet continue to work together.[1]
