The Book of Kings is a book the size of a coffin: 3'x5'x2'. The title on the cover can only be read using magic, but the contents can be read by anyone who can read at least one language. The book radiates strong Divination magic, and contains complete information on every leader who was or is, including darklords. The reader must think of a ruler to turn to the correct page, but if the ruler is in fact a puppet or figurehead for another power, the page is blank. Rulership in this case means political individuals who report to no one else. It was last located in the Secret Library of Vecna.
