The thieves' guild in Sly-Var consists of a small band of thieves led by the spidery male caliban Kemen Kerbasi. He is partial to preying on smugglers. Protection money is also extorted from Rashemani merchants. As a dread possibility, Kemen Kerbasi may in fact be Vraylok Heleneh Kerpatis in magical disguise, acting as a secret agent of Hazlik.
