A poisoner is an amateur or an expert at administering a substance, called a poison, that leaves its victim impaired, incapacitated, or even dead. A poisoner is not, then, necessarily a murderer, although administering a debiliating poison to someone with a weak constitution could accidently make one a murderer. For example Strahd von Zarovich is the poisoner of Lyssa von Zarovich who, in consequence, suffers a significant impairment.
