Impaling is an execution method that consists of forcing the body of a still living individual onto a length of sharpen wood set horizontally in the ground. The action of so killing is intended to be slow and painful. No great skill is necessarily involved and consequently an executioner is not presumed by this method of execution. Any pair of soldiers from the Falkovnian Army can be expected to perform efficiently an impaling. Impaling is Vlad Drakov's preferred execution method, at least when accompanying dinner.
