The tributaries of the Sydligdnar (South Dnar River) are the Dnar River and the Trished River both from the Mountains of Misery, the Vaughn Dnar River from Lake Kronov in Tepest, and the Borchava River and the Little Borchava River both from the vanished land of Markovia, which is to say the Shadow Rift. The Sydligdnar drains into the Nocturnal Sea just north of Egertus at Guldstrand Beach via the Katsmund Canyon. The river is navigable, with difficulty owing to the swiftness of its current, by small ships between Kantora and the sea, with cargos being transferred to and from larger vessels at the beach.
