The Straffers are the personal police force of Prince Othmar Bolshnik. They instill fear wherever they go by both reputation and deed. It is not only that the behaviour of the organisation's members can be monstrous. There are whispers that these men are actually monsters. Nikko Hetch is their leader and also serves as the executioner of the Bolshnik court. The Straffers operate only within the Heartland Duchy and are answerable only to Prince Othmar.
