Individuals from history and the deceased generally may have been, but no longer are, personalities, and so are excluded from this category. A criminal who is successful in keeping a low profile is not a personality. A serial killer who is well-known to the public, even if his or her actual identity has not been established, is a personality. Most, but not all, Darklords are personalities. Anhktepot might not be active enough to be a personality. And Inza might keep a low enough profile to not be a personality. Strahd, even if he is not seen for decades, is a personality.
