Victor Wachter was the father of Lovina Wachter. He stood by Count Strahd von Zarovich when the Dilisnyas sough to wipe out the Von Zarovches in 351 BC. Indeed, his descendants continues to the present day to loyally serve the Count of Barovia. Victor was rewarded for his loyalty by being made a boyar and being granted land in the immediate vicinity of the Krezk Pass.
