Renault Tuvache was a wererat residing in Pont-a-Museau and the properitor of the tiny walled estate of Jerretiere. His young wife, Araby Dunsany, was not a wererat and upon discovering his true nature purchased silver-mercurium, an expensive alchemical poison, and successfully rid herself of him. Curiously, his death, despite rumours that he was poisoned by his wife, did not seemed to have sparked retaliation against the woman by any of his kin or wererat associates.
Note
Under third edition rules silver-mercurium may in fact be of no practical use against wererats (see: silver-mercurium). His wife would have had to divine his chemical bane to poison him.
