A craftsman in Pakat (formerly a farmer in Muladi), he is the foster father of Minja and husband of Alissa. Zind and Alissa adopted Minja following the death of their biological daughter Kandina. They formerly lived in Muladi, but they left for Pakat in order to better conceal Minja's nature as an outlander.[1]
