The Van Richten Society is a loose collection of heroic characters, inspired by Rudolph Van Richten. They are primarily based in Mordent, Dementlieu, Lamordia, and Richemulot. They do not form a formal secret society, and anyone who assisted the good doctor in his work could be considered a member.
