Rivalin ApTosh was the father of Tristen ApBlanc and a war hero for the highlanders of Forfarmax centuries before its entry into Ravenloft. However, Rivalin was felled on the battlefield and subsequently left for dead due to the storms. A vampire came upon him as he lay dying and drained the rest of his blood, transforming Rivalin into one of the dreaded undead.[1]
