Gard was the cudgel of Kulchek the Wanderer, a fabled Vistani hero. It was last wielded by Magda the Wanderer. It was sabotaged by her daughter Inza and through this action shattered. The shards of the weapon were buried with Magda. Nabon recovered and wields the largest shard. It affords him a measure of magical protection against Inza and her minions.
