Lord Alexander von Lupinoff was a noble, betrayed by his friend Claude Hornburg. Hornburg paid a sorcerer to magically curse Alexander with lycanthropy, and then revealed his affliction to discredit him, ultimately killing him to take his lands. Lupinoff lives on as a Ghost, but still transforms into a ghostly wolf form during the full moon.[1]
