Reston's Folly is a cursed amulet created by Reston, a wizard in the search for immortality. He found it but at a cost: an eternally incorporeal state leaving the wearer unable to physically interact with the world.[1] Reston eventually researched a spell to undo it called The Way Home.[2]

For some time, Jimmy Upton was affected by the curse of Reston's Folly.[3] Fortunately, Fennelstock managed to find Reston's cure[2] and remove the cursed item from Jimmy.
