A monster native to Yatehcaa, the skinwalker is a follower of Coyote who has learned to use the skin of an animal to shapeshift into an animal form. Gaining these abilities (and associated template) necessitates mentoring from another skinwalker. Skinwalkers are equated with the evil that witches are in other domains. Note that skinwalkers are entirely different from lycanthropes and do not pass on (or have) a disease associated with their condition.[1]
