Maya Hawkthorne, also known as The Blue Lady is a personal bodyguard for Ivan Dilisnya. Born in Nidala, she once wished to be a paladin, deeply admiring Elena Faith-hold as a personal hero. Her innocence was lost when her family was hauled into Faith-hold's dungeons, tortured, and killed. The Mists spirited her away, landing her in Falkovnia, where she joined a group of bandits and thus begun a long and sordid criminal career. Eventually she wound up in Borca in her current profession working for Ivan Dilisnya, an employer she has a emotionally complex and convoluted relationship with.[1]
