Lord Kaspar Von Brausch is (or was) the husband of Countess Von Brausch[1] and the father of Marcellus Von Brausch. He formerly resides in Curriculo on his estate.[2]

After Marcellus was infected with lycanthropy, Lord Kaspar had Marcellus confined upon his estate and then hired Dr. Claude Vardeau. Unfortunately, Marcellus escaped and killed his father in werewolf form. Dr. Vardeau was blamed for the event.[3]

In life, Lord Von Brausch was an outspoken critic of Malocchio's pogroms and despotism in public[4] and a backer of the Sons of Gundar in secret. He did this not so much out of sympathy for the Gundarkites but rather to support his goal of independence of the nobles of Invidia and rejection of Malocchio's drive towards tyranny.[5]
