Dr. Vilhelm Mikki is a celebrated alienist who runs a sanatorium outside of Chateaufaux. He is understood to be a foreigner who moved to the town to investigate the madness that overtook it subsequent to the Great Upheaval.[1] 
It is speculated, given the name and profession, that Dr. Vilhelm Mikki is from Lamordia. The failure of the alienist to identify the lingering cause of the madness that continues to prey, albeit at a relatively low level, on the citizenry of Chateaufaux has opened the door for (unfounded) whispers that the source is the madness obsessed foreigner.[1]
