Azalin Rex has (or had at the time of the events described in From the Shadows) a spirit naga at his service in Castle Avernus.[1] Azalin refers to the naga only as his exterminator[2], for she removes both pests like osquips as well as intruders in the castle.[1] 
It is possible, perhaps even highly likely, the naga was dispatched during the events of that module
The spirit naga had a somewhat contemptuous, somewhat playful relationship with Skeever, Azalin's familiar.[3]
