Professor Ewart Candida (along with Professor Eugenia Kael formerly belonged to the Universiity of Il Aluk. However, after the fall of that city during the Requiem, both professors made their way to the College of Liffe. Professor Ewart contributed greatly to the growth of the Klaus Boritsi School of Business. Both professors caused some controversy over their struggling for the College to admit female students and nonhumans.[1]
However, the Darkonian academic refugees to the College of Liffe may have brought something unfortunate with them. If the Filthy Lucre dread possibility is in plain, then several of Lucre's coins were among the baubles the Darkonians brought with them from Darkon. The presence of one of these coins led to the death of 4 students trying to burglarize the College of Liffe Financial Office in the Liffen Riots of 756 BC.[2]
