Javier Renier

Son of Mikkel Renier and Esther Renier, Javier Renier (born, 720 BC) is one of the Darkonese Reniers and thus not a wererat (nor is he aware of the wererats that infest the Richemuloise half of his family tree. Javier grew an impressive reputation of honesty as an adventurer, mercenary, and guard before becoming a recruiter of such. Javier operated out of Darkon for some time before being chased out during the Grim Harvest by rival factions desiring power only for themselves.

Javier was about to flee to Nova Vaasa, for whom he had also done work for, when Jacqueline Renier invited him to Richemulot. Once there, Javier inadvertently became embroiled in the machinations of the various power games of the Richemuloise Reniers, particularly Jacqueline and her sister Louise Renier. Although being caught in the middle distresses him, he does not know the depths of the corruption around him.
