Ogier (?-752 BC[1]) is a character from the Spectre of the Black Rose novel. Along with Kern, Ambrose was a friend of Ganelon and also a fellow miner at the Veidrava Salt Mines. They frequently hung out at the shop of their friend Ambrose (of Sithicus).[2].
Ogier and Kern were both lured into a trap by a salt shadow possessed Ambrose at the Black Chapel. There, salt shadows ambushed and possessed both Ogier and Kern[3], effectively transforming them into the minions of Azrael Dak. When Ganelon came to stop Azrael and his ritual, Ambrose, Kern, and Ogier tussled with the intruding Ganelon.[4]. Ultimately, all three of Ganelon's friends met their doom when Ganelon activated the crystal orb given to him by Malocchio Aderre.[5].
