The doppelganger plant of Delmunster arrived in that Falkovnian thorp via the comet of 737 BC. The comet was discovered by Burgomaster Yuri Karloff and, sensing its evil], he buried it in the woods behind Rook Hill Manor. Despite his best intentions, the plant grew to maturity quickly and enslaved and killed more than a few of the townspeople.[1] The burial site was located some 2 miles from the manor, and the woods within 200 ft of the buried comet were completely devoid of noise.[2]

The destruction wrought in the wake of the plant was so great that much of the thorp was destroyed, including the The Hospice of the Doe.[3]
