Alongside his his elven associate, Markel was one of the Poliska. A brutish lout originally from Veidrava Village, Markel and his elf compatriot forced their way into Ambrose's shop looking for a Thorn of the White Rose spy. A confrontatioon with Ambrose led to both of the Poliskarae dead by his hand and the mentally unwell Helain put to flight followed by her would-be husband Ganelon.[1]
