Vlad Rastolnikov was a baker in the Village of Barovia. Kolya Kalinov was his apprentice.^[1] When the cottage of Burgomaster Kartov was set ablaze and the [{Kartova Family]] decimated, Vladimir attempted to take in Alexi Petrovich as one of his children, but bowed to the pressure of his wife.^[2]
Given how long ago he lived, Vlad may be presumed to be deceased.
