Gordin Smey was the former friend and ally of Calum Songmaster. Like Songmaster, Smey was an adventurer and hunter of monsters. However, Smey was transformed by the forces of corruption and became a monster. At Smey's behest, Songmaster dispatched his former friend. Songmaster kept Smey's skull as a reminder never to succumb.[1] Sadly, the reminder didn't take, as Songmaster too fell to corruption.
