In the Tales of Ravenloft short story Objets d'Art, Stezen d'Polarno takes several guests on a tour through his private art gallery. All of them truly want his alleged elixir of immortality. In reality, the tour is merely a trap, to give make them "immortal" by trapping or transforming them into various pieces of art.
