Along with her Marius Undral and their nine children, Alara Undral was one of the last survivors of the Darkonian Undral Family They resided in the House on Undral Hill overlooking the hamlet of Talanka. After Marius died, the couple's nine children disappeared, replaced only by dolls. Alara went to the townspeople begging for help in recovering her children, but they turned her away on the basis that it was the work of the Fey and the Fey should not be crossed. Alara herself disappeared, but returned a year later as a vengeful spirit, demanding sacrifice of a child twice per year. The town has suffered under the Undral Curse for a decade and a half.[1]
Alara lingers on as a vengeful shadow and claims the lives of any who enter her house. Even if she is defeated in combat, it will take the swearing of the Undral Oath to put her and the House to rest permanently. Currently she has two prisoners, Myra Fisherwife and Liesl Fisherwife, the first one made a sacrifice and the second one caught entering the Undral mansion trying to rescue her.[2]
