Hassan Basras is a minor NPC from the Touch of Death module. In that adventure, he will serve for a payment and a way out if the player characters manage to escape.[1]
Hassan Basras is a former acolyte of the Temple of Muhar in the village of Muhar in the land of Har'Akir. He was kicked out of the temple for drunkenness by its then high priestess IIsu Rehkotep who refuses to treat with him. He is prepared to serve as a guide for adventurers.[1] He is not described as being impaired by alcohol. So it is unclear whether his drunkenness was exceptional, recurs but infrequently, is the manifestation of a periodic alcoholism, or is the manifestation of a continual alcoholism that, most of the time, does not prevent him from functioning at a high level.
