Dr. Van Richten, George Weathermay and Arametrius travel to Sanguinia and meet Claudia DeShanes. There they meet Claudia DeShanes and enlist her aid as a spiritualist in their adventure in that land. Following its completion, Claudia signs on as Dr. van Richten's assistant.[3]F- The Kantora Strangler is apprehended, identified as Talgaard Bolshnik, and institutionalized at the Clinic for the Mentally Distressed.[4]
The evil spirit of Madame Radanavich and her undead retinue discover Richten Haus and claim it for their own.[5]- Repeated raids by the bitterkinder upon merchant caravans along the Merchant's Way cause it to be nicknamed the Merchant's Slash.[6]
