Antelucia was the mother of Jahed and the wife of Mercurio. Mercurio regularly abused, battered, and generally victimized her until his death at the hands of a weretiger. Antelucia took the news of Mecurio's death well, even becoming light of heart and spirit. However, she died nine months later. On the anniversary of Mercurio's death, Jahed found that he would transform into a weretiger, and the taking of a sentient life is what he required to change back.[1]
