The caskets of the damned were created by the Undertaker of Il Aluk, Amo Pesadilla, at the request of Colonel Veneno of Kargat. Colonel Veneno also gave Amo the brass fittings for the coffin that were (unknown to Amo) forged of magical metals by Axrock, providing the caskets with necromantic properties.[1]
The Caskets of the Damned can be used to created undead of various types as a function of the duration of interment. However, a curse lingers on the caskets that the undead will break free and go berserk.
