In Curse of Strahd, Doru is the son of the priest Donavich who lives in the Village of Barovia. He was killed by Strahd, reanimated as a vampire spawn, and sent to torment Donavich.[1]
History
Bolstered by the presence of a powerful outlander mage, Doru participated in a rebellion against Count Strahd. However, Doru was slain in the rebellion and later sent back as a vampire spawn to gaslight Donavich and cause the fall of Donavich's church[2]
