Goblins are identified in the minds of many with Tepest where they famously ambush travellers. Calabin births occur among this species and surviving individuals typically rise to positions of leadership (use hobgoblin statistics). Alone among the intelligent races, goblins have achieved a degree of control over goblin beasts which are happily confined for the most part to Tepest. Hags intimidate and exploit goblins to their dark ends, sometimes taking goblin adepts under their wings.
