A period of 5 years (750 BC to 755 BC) in the history of Darkon in which Azalin's essence was dispersed throughout all of his domain. This time was a period of chaos and discord throughout the land as Death began to exert his influence all over Darkon. In addition, a widespread and terrifying phenomena known asDrowning Dreams terrified random people in their Sleep. So great was the fear, the Darkonians called their realm Necropolis, for it was widely believed the Hour of Ascension was at hand. As Azalin tried to pull himself together his Horsemen ran rampant throughout the land. The Shrouded Years began with the Requiem and ended with Azalin's return.[1]
