In the muddled history of Ustalav, Kazavon[1] was a mercenary whom was hired somewhere between 85 BC and 310 BC (by "S"'s estimate) to drive out the barbarian tribes plaguing the nation following the fall of the Whispering Tyrant. However, Kazavon betrayed his employers and conquered a portion of Ustalav's western edge, where he ruled for two decades before his rule was undone, in some reports by the Order of the Palatine Eye. The historical account regarding Kazavon is problematic in that in the earliest estimates of his time come before the Whispering Tyrant, and the Order may have by some estimates been founded years after his defeat.
Some reports say Kazavon founded the bloodline that would eventually produce Vlad Drakov.
