The Ring of Winter is a powerful outlander magic item worn by Artus Cimber. He used it to protect Kayebo Village from a poison dusk lizardfolk attack, but the dread magic of the Bakumora caused a backlash that literally froze Artus and Dragon Bait in a state of suspended animation.[1]
