Falkovnian mystic and alienest with the Ministry of the Arcane whose experiments caused planar breaches to the Far Realm. The energy unleashed upon the land had a casualty rate in the hundreds and mutated hundreds more. Chernov is now a chaos beast, the demilord of the contaminated area, and his domain is slowly growing. Inspiration for Chernov and his domain comes from combination of Chernobyl, the Annihilation film and Lovecraft's The Color Out of Space.[1]
