Sabhur.[1] is a city-state domain resembling ancient Babylon. Dominated by evil gods, primal and ancient traditions, and a tyrannical ruler, Sabhur is nonetheless a grand and wondrous place.
Adramelech, Sabhur's tyrannical king and darklord, is known for his explosive temper and greater-than-usual cruelty, so Sabhur's denizens tread lightly to avoid provoking his wrath. He demonstrates a special affinity for lions; trained lions are allowed to wander the city and even guard his ziggurat-palace. Sabhur sports several leonine and Babylonian native monsters, including gorgons, sphinxes, and shedu.
