Nightshades are massive and extremely mighty undead creatures native to the Plane of Shadow. A mix of both darkness and evil, nightshades despite light and natural daylight severely disorients them. All nightshades give off an aura of desecration, infusing the environment around it with negative energy to the point of acting as a desecrate spell with the nightshade as a mobile evil shrine. Thus, undead are empowered when near a nightshade.[1]
