Salt is a nutriment essential to the material processes of life as understood by biology and is an essential commodity. It also makes useful weapon against leeches. It has, in certain times and places, served as money, the most easily exchanged commodity, and hence the unit of exchange. Salt may abe collected from specially created flats by the seashore through the process of evaporation and is mined underground.
