Loch Lenore is a lake in the Shadow Rift, specifically the Greenlands of the northern Rift.[1][2] Loch Lenore is fed by the Hidden Cascade from Tepest above. Loch Lenore feeds the Falling River that winds across the Greelands before spilling over [[the Precipice into the Biting Tarn.[1] Although the lake itself is the Greenland's sole truly steady feature[2], the waters of the lake constantly roil and move about, providing peril for both swimming and boating. Beyond the currents, the predators and other creatures are dangerous in their own right.[1]

As a dread possiblity, a fracture at its bottom connects it to Saragoss when the Seelie Court is in power and Lake Amenta in Nidala when the Unseelie Court rules.[3]
