Alyn Dragant was the cousin of Baron Aspasian of Il Aluk. In [[682 BC^[1]]], he tracked the Whistling Fiend from Darkon to Invidia.^[2] considering how long ago he lived, Alyn Dragant is likely deceased in the modern Ravenloft timeline of 750s.

Mangrum wrote the following on the correct year derivation: "The date implied in VRGtF pg. 53 is actually 541, but this creates a continuity error.
