Necropolitan Amaranth is a plant found only on the outskirts of Necropolis in the Garden of the Amaranth in Desolatus. Its leaves act as a unique poison of negative energy, while its seeds can ward off decay in corpses, food, or potions. Perhaps the plant's most unusual feature is in its blooming flower, the full bloom has the unusual effect of providing living beings with protection, however temporary, from The Shroud. The plant feeds upon the negative energy of the Shroud, but is instantly destroyed by any positive energy such as healing magic[1].
