Isolde Denissa was the second wife of Lord Soth. She was an elf, pledged to the service of Paladine when they met and he broke his marriage and knightly vows to woo her. Convinced that she had turned against him, Soth refused to save her and their newborn son from the fire that engulfed Dargaard Keep. Her dying curse that he live "the lifetime of every soul that you have caused death" on that day, the day he failed to stop the Cataclysm, turned Soth into a Death Knight.[1]
In Spectre of the Black Rose, it turns out the White Rose is her spirit.[2]
