Sandovor

Formerly a resident of Port d'Elhour, Sandovor is now a werecrocodile living with a tribe of dimunutive reptile men in the swamps of Souragne. Among his tribe, Sancovor is a high priest of Merrshaulk the Reptile God.

Background

Sandovor is neither a lycanthrope by birth. He was born a normal man in Port d'Elhour, albeit one who was a great admirer of crocodiles and, to a lesser degree, other creatures of the swamp. Prior to his transformation, Sandovor made a living as a trapper, making regular excursions into the swamps of Souragne. On one such journey, he encountered the domain's small reptile men. A musical ritual they were performing unlocked the crocodile spirit inside of Sandovor, and he became a great werecrocodile. Eventually, he became the leader of this tribe. Sandovor's transformation has not been a product of infection or an externally imposed curse but rather a result of his spiritual affinity with the crocodile and his faithful belief in Merrshaulk.

Now venerated as an avatar of Merrshaulk, Sandovor takes monthly human sacrifices from his cult, whom faithfully continue to provide. Under his leadership, the reptile men have built a step pyramid. However, the pyramid is only partially complete.

Jakobi is one of the prisoners kidnapped for ritual transformation into reptile men slaves of Sandovor and his tribe to work as grunt labor in working on the pyramid.
